ACTING OUT
March 15-19, 2010 9am-4pm Bauer Theatre $300
Instructor - Richie Wilcox
This day camp is aimed at aspiring actors, aged 11 and up who love performing and want to develop confidence and technique. No previous theatre experience is required.
Participants will begin with exercises and games as preparation for work on monologues and scenes from contemporary scripts. Each performer will look at the many different ways of interpreting a text, fleshing out ideas with emotions to create a character, and playing with different styles of presentation.
At the end of the week the group will perform a sequence of monologues and scenes for an invited audience.
